Thumbprint, a 90-minute contemporary opera-theatre work by Kamala Sankaram and Susan Yankowitz, is inspired by the experiences of Mukhtar Mai, the first female victim of gang rape to bring her male attackers to justice in Pakistan.

Conceived and performed by legendary downtown theater maker Anna Kohler, directed by Caleb Hammond, and featuring renowned performance artist Hapi Phace, MYTHO? immerses the audience in a unique sensory experience with aromas, three dimensional sound by Almeda Beynon and media projection by Shaun Irons and Lauren Petty.

We collaborated with Phantom Limb on 69°S to create an immersive, stage-filling, five-channel video installation which we mixed and processed live to accompany the performances. Our work provided historical context, atmospheric conditions (such as raging snowstorms, cracking ice, a lunar eclipse, and an otherworldly aurora), as well as abstracted, painterly, hand made images lending psychological and emotional weight to Shackleton's dramatic and famous story of isolated men surviving against all odds.

00:07 is a theater project based on Malcolm Gladwell's best-selling book Blink, 00:07 is an ensemble work that uses event recreation, live psychology experiments, lecture, and explosive dance to unpack, second by second, the 1999 shooting of Amadou Diallo by four NYPD officers.
